The visionary behind the club, Uroš Slak, joined forces with Joc Pečečnik and brought together the leading Slovenian entrepreneurs, along with 35 esteemed colleagues, to establish the SBC - Slovenian Business Club. This was a pivotal moment in the Slovenian business world, bringing about numerous positive changes and opportunities for entrepreneurs in the country.
With full hearts of pride and joy, we recall January 2014 when the most prominent names in Slovenian entrepreneurship united and introduced themselves to the public. At the press conference dedicated to commemorating all the successes the club achieved in the past decade, distinguished Slovenian entrepreneurs, including Joc Pečečnik, Igor Akrapovič, Tanja Skaza, Marjan Batagelj, Mihael Blažič, and others, shared their insights. Their common point was that they were not part of the narratives of tycoons, but rather, they developed their businesses based on their own ideas, vision, knowledge, and courage.
