In line with the current situation, Skaza's traditional Open Day will be taking place in the virtual world for the second year in a row. This way everyone who is interested can get to know our work from the comfort of their own home and join us on our mission of creating a cleaner and healthier planet.
This year's event, which will be streaming on three social networks on March 20, will be further enriched by the announcement of our newest projects and the insights into the processes behind the research and development of our products. Of course, we did not forget about high school and university students, for whom we will prepare a special customized virtual tour the day before.
Every year we at Skaza open our doors to everyone who would like to get to know our company, our values, and products better, and at the same time we share new knowledge and encourage you to live a more sustainable life. Once again, we will meet with you in our virtual event which will take place on Saturday, March 20, at 10:30 am CET, when we will start streaming live on three social networks – Facebook, Instagram in YouTube.
Together we will also look back on past year's challenges. We are proud that, despite the uncertainty we were faced with, we worked as a team and continued to invest in research and development, with which we are changing the world step by step. We further strengthened the development of our own products and are pleased to announce that we will present some of these innovations for the first time at our Open Day. You will get a premiere insight into our completely new product, which we are developing under the working name BO Daily together with the renowned Slovenian design agency Gigodesign. We have already successfully cooperated with them in the past in the development of our award-winning kitchen composter Bokashi Organko 2.
We will also present a novelty which is closely related to the consequences of the pandemic. Last year we used our knowledge, materials, and technical equipment and with the help of a 3D printer made special plastic parts that make it much easier to wear protective masks for those who must wear it all the time, such as health workers. Awareness that our donation made their daily work easier, led up to the decision to invest in additional technical equipment, which will help us further expand this story to help even more people.
At our Open Day you will be greeted by our directors Bart Stegeman and dr. Robert Agnič, who will be joined by the owner of the company Tanja Skaza, the head of research and innovation dr. Branka Viltužnik and product manager Darko Šuman.
We invite you to join our virtual Open Day on Saturday, March 20, from 10:30 am CET onwards on our:
