Project New Life – Turn the Old into New

Plastic waste is one of today’s most pressing global environmental challenges. In 2021 alone, the European Union generated 16.13 million tons of plastic waste – and only 6.56 million tons were recycled. A significant portion of this includes single-use packaging that ends up in landfills or, worse, in nature.

At Skaza, we recognize the urgency of this issue – and we don't stop at words. Our mission is to extend the life of plastic by reintegrating it into the circular loop. That’s why we launched Project New Life – an initiative that allows you to return your used Skaza products, which we recycle and reuse. As a thank-you for your contribution, you’ll receive a 50% discount on Essential composters in our online store.

How does it work?

👉 Carefully clean the products that are no longer usable.
👉 Ensure that all returned products are indeed Skaza products.
👉 Pack them and fill out the return form HERE >>>
👉 You’ll receive an email from the delivery service with a pickup date.
👉 Once your package arrives at Skaza, we’ll inspect the items for cleanliness and eligibility.
👉 You’ll then receive an email with a 50% discount code for Essential composters (the code is single-use and non-transferable).
👉 Meanwhile, you’re welcome to take advantage of all ongoing offers – your returned products will already be on their way to a new life.

What can you return?

Products included in the project are: Organko composters, Organko Daily bins, Pick & Go sets, plates, cups, cutlery, pitchers, and other Skaza items. All of these are recycled and reused to create new sustainable solutions.

Our step toward a stronger circular economy

One of our key development directions is the establishment of a new plastic compounding line – a major step toward greater material efficiency and supporting the circular economy. This technology allows us to reuse technically clean production residues – including items from Project New Life, startup materials, and off-spec products – and process them into high-quality secondary raw materials.

Niko Medved, Deputy Director at Skaza, adds: “Our products prove that waste can become a source of opportunity, and that innovation is not only about developing something new – it’s also about acting responsibly with what already exists. With this innovation, we send a clear message: the future can be sustainable – if we create it together.”

Recycle. Save. Contribute.

To date, we’ve saved over 150 tons of plastic from landfills. Every returned item helps close the loop – which means less waste, less environmental burden, and more responsible production. Project New Life is not just a recycling initiative – it's an invitation to co-create a circular economy that preserves resources, supports innovation, and builds a better tomorrow.
