From 19 to 21 June 2022 Skaza's team (Ewa Neja Pipenbaher, Darko Šuman, Tjaša Ban and Mira Ramšak Knapič) attended Spoga Gafa, the leading international trade fair for the garden and leisure industry in Cologne, Germany. Skaza's corner was positioned right in the center of the fairground, as the organizers recognized our sustainable products as one of the biggest potentials of the fair and awarded us with the "Sustainable garden certificate”. Products in this category were highly sought after by the visitors and thus our corner was also among the most visited. Last but not least, our kitchen composter was placed in the main connecting corridor of the fair, the so-called "Boulevard of Ideas” where it attracted even more attention from the public.
At the fair, our team met with existing business partners from all over the world and they also made contact with potential new partners from Japan, Australia and other faraway lands. Most of the fair visitors were very well informed about different ways of composting, as the event is usually attended by enthusiasts and connoisseurs of such topics.
They were very interested in the details of composting with our Bokashi Organkos, how does the fermentation process work, which materials are the composters made of, where can they buy the composters and similar. The fair was definitely a ticket to expand our own brand's business worldwide.
