On Wednesday, September 23, we hosted the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Slovenia, Derk Jan Nauta. During a visit, we showed him our production, and at the laser engraving department, we gave him a personalized cup in the color of his homeland.
In the official part of the meeting, CEO Bart Stegeman presented the operation of the company, our mission, and our vision. The Dutch market represents an important part of our business, so the word also spread to the field of establishing new economic connections.
We have worked with the Dutch embassy in the past. The signing of the European Plastics Pact, initiated by the Netherlands and France, was particularly resounding, and we were the first Slovenian company to sign. At that time, we were recognized as one of the leading European companies in the field of responsible plastic management and an important partner in accelerating the transition to a circular economy.

The official part was followed by a recreational one, as Derk Jan Nauta gladly responded to the invitation to participate in this year's 5th charity Skaza’s run Child to Child. Together with our director, they ran at the Velenje City Stadium, and Nauta made a statement in which he congratulated Skaza for the idea and organization of a socially responsible project. He emphasized how very proud he is that he is also a part of this wonderful story and that he wants his colleagues to be present next year, of course, when the event will be performed live again.
One of the main purposes of the meeting was certainly to strengthen the friendly relations between our company on the one hand and the Kingdom of the Netherlands as an important business partner on the other.
