More than 150 business leaders have confirmed that by changing themselves, they have created a more successful company

"I confronted my ego. The company is now growing and successful. My husband and I talk. I respect my colleagues. Among colleagues, we are honest and committed. We assess new employees to see if they align with our values, so we know they will stay with us. I go to work with the greatest joy and respect for myself. Although the company is 60 years old, we had a vision, but nobody knew how to execute it, and we started building the business only when Tanja came," are just some of the experiences from several roundtables of successful leaders and entrepreneurs who experienced why they had to work on themselves first before changing the company's culture, thus retaining talent, empowering it, and fostering engagement among employees. Entrepreneurs confirmed that due to cooperation with the Skaza Institute, they have a much more successful company, and above all, they are happier.

Tanja Skaza, director of the Skaza Institute and co-owner of Skaza, hosted more than 150 business leaders at the business event, focusing on honesty, commitment, and facing the challenge of personal development. The energetic and lively event was also enlivened by singers Manca Špik, Astrid, and Gaia Asta with their new song.

"Now we know how to communicate and be patient; I take on daily challenges more relaxed, and I confronted my ego," said attendees at a roundtable discussion, which included successful business owners. Igor Skaza, director and owner of Skaza, who generally does not appear in public, said: "When you are faced with a challenge, it is important to look at it, confront it, and grow with it. Today, I see myself with my truth, honestly, and I also confront my ego." Among other things, he also highlighted two key points: "If Tanja and I used to compete, today it is important that we support each other and give each other value." He added that for some time now, he has been living as one person, the same at work and at home. Jože Pleško, a proxy of the family company Tuli, honestly admitted: "Now we know how to communicate and be patient. After these processes, we have a better outlook on life and we go through challenges more easily. We are all patient with each other and accept diversity." Sebastjan Rozman, director of Kelag Italia, said: "I take on daily challenges more relaxed, and there is no need to rush into everything. You take on work and life as one and enjoy every moment. If that's not the case, it's better to change something."

Tanja Skaza, who is enrolling the fourth generation into the Academy Worth Changing, said she empowers, connects, and encourages women. Erika Pleško, director of the family company Tuli, said: "The biggest change I made was realizing that you put love first. That's how I got a son whom I didn't dare to have before because of a difficult family pattern. Our company is 52 years old, the value was just work. With new values and vision that I set in the company, it is now easier: "When a company sets values and vision, the right people come." Maja Kapelj, director of M&N Real Estate, said: "Before I started working on myself, money meant success to me, my husband and I lived past each other, and the children were left to themselves. I had money, but I wasn't happy. Today I am happy and living my life. I realized that life and business are a game. I accept myself as I am, if you judge me, that's not my problem." Sara Markun, a 26-year-old sales and marketing specialist at Marbo Okolje, highlighted a taboo topic that many avoid. She expressed gratitude to her mother and emphasized that when she accepted her mother, she started feeling more herself.

Tanja Skaza, who has helped numerous companies, also emphasizes the importance of continuous learning, self-improvement, and coaching. This was confirmed by the participants of the third round of conversations. Barbara Žnidarič, an interior design designer at Progrin, said: "I discovered my most important world - myself. I go to work with the greatest joy. I respect myself and my husband." Jaka Hrovat, manager and co-owner of Hrovat Carpentry - Hrovat Houses, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, said: "We had a vision, and no one knew how to execute it. We started building the business only when we started working with Tanja Skaza. At first, I didn't understand the role of values and vision and mission. When we set them up, I realized that now, when I live them, so do our employees. Similar values unite us." Peter Nakov, co-owner and proxy of Alset, said: "You are never always the same, you are always better. In the business world, it is enough to be, and everything happens at the right time and for its purpose. But it is important to follow your goal." Tejča Moškrič, director of the Pinard Institute, said: "A woman can help and encourage another woman. When you work on yourself, relationships always improve, contributing to mutual satisfaction, empathy, effective communication, and connectedness."

Enthusiasm and heartfulness are condensed into common thoughts advocated by Tanja Skaza, that one must first work on oneself and one's relationship with oneself.
