At Plastika Skaza, we hosted a group of SBC successors—young individuals embarking on the journey of taking over family businesses and co-creating the future of the Slovenian economy.
The opening part of the meeting took place in the company of Director Tanja Skaza and her son, Tijan Skaza, where the discussion focused on the key challenges, expectations, and goals faced by young successors. The conversation raised a number of relevant topics—from responsibility toward family legacy and finding one’s own path within the company, to balancing innovation with already established business models.
Participants came from diverse business backgrounds—some are already actively involved in managing their family businesses, while others are still in the process of gradual integration and preparing to take on more significant roles. This diversity of experience contributed to a rich and open exchange of perspectives.
The participants were also addressed by Niko Medved, Deputy Director at Skaza, who, in addition to his role, also acts as a mentor to Tijan Skaza. In his address, he emphasized the importance of mentorship, trust, and the gradual transfer of responsibility, which enables young successors to develop their leadership competencies in a stable and structured way.

Tijan Skaza has been actively involved in the company for quite some time, during which he has gradually gained insight into various areas and roles within the organization. At the event, he appeared as the successor of Tanja and Igor Skaza, presenting his vision for the future of the company and his role in its further development.
The official part of the event was followed by a relaxed informal gathering, further strengthening the connections among participants. The visit concluded with a tour of the P1 production facility, where Suzana Škrinjar and Sašo Cerovečki welcomed the group and presented the production operations and key processes.
The event once again confirmed the importance of creating space for open dialogue among successors and encouraging the exchange of experiences that will shape the future of family entrepreneurship.
