Skaza improves efficiency and employee satisfaction by eliminating four-shift work

Events

Skaza has decided to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction. From April 1st, 2023, we will transition from four-shift work to three-shift work in production. By eliminating four-shift work, we will provide more time for family, improve the work-life balance for employees, and allow for rest on weekends.

Our goal is to provide relief for those who worked in the fourth shift and worked on weekends, as well as for employees who were on call during that time. The transition to three-shift work was made possible by our substantial focus on improving production efficiency, coordinating with customers, and engaging in activities to increase productivity.

To implement and maintain three-shift work and meet production targets, we will carry out activities to improve production and increase efficiency. Digitalization will play a crucial role in monitoring processes and achieving maximum impact through optimizations and automation. We want to emphasize that our orders are not decreasing, so we will continue with these activities to meet the production plan and ensure further growth by fulfilling the commitment to three-shift work.

Occasional work on Saturdays will still be necessary for certain orders. In such cases, employees will be able to rotate, so that generally no one will have more than one Saturday shift per month. We thank all employees for their contributions to the successful transition to three-shift work. We look forward to further collaboration and assure you that we will continue to work on improving working conditions and product quality for our customers.
